Humorous authors from around the world joined forces, creating an anthology with humanitarian concerns in mind.
The recently launched anthology, Ellipsis, connects everyday life to the humor that we sometimes miss. From the simplicity of ordering a cup of coffee to the complexity of divorce, this anthology aims at finding insight into the human experience through comedy. More importantly, the authors decided that donating all of the proceeds to charity was more important than utilizing the profits for their own needs. “In the first few weeks of its release, Ellipsis, has shown a lot of promise in raising funds for Doctors Without Borders,” said contributing author, Dylan Callens. “If sales continue the way that they have started, we’ll raise over $1000 for them by the end of the year.” Doctors Without Borders/Medecins Sans Frontieres helps people worldwide where the need is greatest, delivering emergency medical aid to people affect by conflict, epidemics, disasters, or exclusion from health care. |
